Flossing removes food debris and plaque that a toothbrush can&#8217;t reach. Plaque can cause tooth decay and can lead to gum disease, and gum disease can lead to a heart attack or a stroke. Flossing should be done daily.<\/p>\n<h2>When to Floss<\/h2>\n<p>Many people floss while watching TV, or in the car on the way to work. No matter where you find the time to do it, just do it! It can add up to six years to your life and give you a beautiful smile.
